- Toddler[gallery link="file" columns="5"] Toddler Photography by James and Meredith Baker We suggest a time when they have had a good rest and feed beforehand so they are energised, bubbly and happy. We have toys to entertain and distract to get them smiling and have a quick photographer to capture them before they’re on the move out of the frame! We are patient – we know toddlers have their own idea of what is fun, what they like to do and what’s important to them. We know they like the comfort of mum, dad or their siblings so we encourage you to sit near so they feel safe and quite often when they up and run towards your open arms it makes a truly remarkable photograph! For boys we suggest denim for toddlers, either jeans, shorts or overalls with a plain white or coloured top or bright coloured shirt. Bare feet look best or socks. If they have siblings then matching colours looks great in photographs. Logos and bright patterns can distract so keep it simple. For girls dresses, tutus, frilly skirts, glitter ballet shoes, headbands all look wonderful. Bright colours are great! Again – if they have siblings a matching colour theme is very effective. - Children[gallery link="file" columns="5"] Children Photography by James and Meredith Baker Children are a delight to photograph – they say “monkeys” they love smiling for the camera and they have the best cheeky laughs that bring out their cheerful eyes in their photographs. They know how to have fun – and this fun is captured so well on the move and at play. For boys we suggest neat dress, jeans, pants, dressy shorts, clean shoes with dressy shirts and bright tops with little or no pattern and no logos. For girls we suggest dresses, skirts, matching colour theme, jeans with blouse, dressy shoes and for long hair, nice hair accessories with strong colour looks great. We will take LOTS of family photos to make sure we capture everyone looking a smiling at the same time! We suggest matching or complimenting colour theme with clothes, accessories etc for the family so that you all compliment each other (ie – don’t dress one in red and another in brown with the kids in yellow and pink) A splash of the same colour in the kids with neutral for the parents looks great in photographs.
